Leadership qualities and their application made any leader a successful leader. The meaning of Leadership- leadership is eventually an art of getting the stuff done through others on the voluntary basis. Leaders help others and themselves too, to do the thing in a right way. The leaders set up their direction and creates something of their vision. Leadership includes the creating a way where someone needs to go in order to get the success. [1]The pattern of actions, which are performed by leaders and then preserved by their employees are termed as a leadership style. This leadership style represents the skills, attitudes and philosophy of leaders. Adoption of the leadership styles differentiated on the basis of the situation and style of followers. Types of leadership styles- Leadership style is having its four types and these theories come under the contemporary theories. Application of the autocratic model has been analyzed in this study, as below Autocratic leadership- Any leader, who follows the autocratic leadership style, centralizes all the powers and decision-making in their self[2]. Leader assigns tasks, gives orders, and assigns duties without consulting to anyone. - The leader is the one who takes all the authority and responsibilities. It also termed as the authoritarian leadership. In this leadershipstyles the individual is having control on over all decisions making and little input from a group typically make choices based on the[3]. Qualities of Autocratic leadership- Autocractic leader should have some qualities by which they fullfill all the requirements of this leadership style[4]. The Autocratic leader consists of some following qualities: Decision making- [5]The immediate decision-making is required in this leadership style. For e.g., nowadays and if any business which is performing badly and that requires immediate decision for business in order to survive. These leaders tend to make immediate and new decisions. They relegate the authority or ask for advice in some rare cases, preferring to take a hand-on the applied approach. Dictators are only having the responsibility for their decisions rather than others. Dictators want their work to be done as they want in their own way, so they prefer good employees. These employees are those, who is having a trait to grab the instructions carefully. The Dictator is having the responsibility to spend much time thinking about the tactics and strategies or trying to improve their management style. Efficiency, Effectiveness The effective and efficient tools are used for operating in the project that can be characterized for technical projects. A leader needs a confidence while taking decision and there should be stability in their decisions. Once the decision has been taken leader can not take it back. A Female leader needto be recognized that she feels she has to show up the swagger and assertiveness at the working place. In the autocratic style of leadership, leader is the only one who takes decisions with confident nature without consulting anyone. Transparency The leader can perform transparently by the only way to, prompting trust, beliefs and buy-in from the team which is identical. No surprises. Presence of transparency in decisions, will cause to the better working environment. In the autocratic model the leader should be transparent in nature or open decisions should be taken and this will attract others. Integrity Integrity is the vital trait of the autocratic model. Employees are the direct reflection of the values of somebody as a leader. If you focus on becoming authentic in all your itself.leaders integrate and creates the better working environment at the working place. Inspiration Noone, is selfmade man, everyone is having some inspiration. There are no such things like self made leaders. Leaders are driven not self made. That point, others gave him great inspiration, attractions and he was fueled by his beliefs and an internal drive and passion. Everyone is willing to perform their duties and responsibilities by getting inspiration. Leaders are inspired from a someone factor.[6] Passion Passion is craziness of what you are doing, one should love what they do.In order to get success at something, one must be obsessed over their work and let it consume. No matter how successful business might become, one could never be satisfied and continully push to do something bigger than the previous one, better and greater. When some one is having the passion for something, they never fed up with the same and have the same excitement for every time. The leader should have this trait in order to grow. Innovation Any system is having finite resources, assets and infinite expansion in populationlike business, like all of humanity. Innovation is an essential element not only or success, but also for survival. The innovators are the leaders. The leader and their group having the same relationship, which is between the head of the family and other members of the family. The leader performs the tasks of guiding and protecting subordinates. The head provides good working conditions and the fringe benefits to their subordinates. Contempo rary leadership style of Dr. Mahatir Bin Mohammad- These theories have been followed by many effective and the famous leaders, Dr. Mahatir Bin Mohammad was one of them. The leader must have the trait to help other members and subordinates of their team, in order to innovate and create . Creativity some time considered as an innate trait, but everyone has this ability to improve the characteristics. [10]A leader can easily improve their own creativity and subordinates creativity by establishing the environment which is right within the organization. Creativity improves when people started speaking their mind freely, openly and feel the ideas they have respected. The leader should be creative and innovative, these traits make them an effective leader. Fairness Fairness will be shown when, people will start to speak their mind in front of everyone. Mainly decisions are taken through the majority of votes, in this situation leader can show fairness[11]. There is the clear situation of fairness, unfavorable and the unapproachable situations are absent in this trait. The democratic style must be clear, fair, open and consistent in nature with the leaders who are bearing the brunt of the responsibilities. The leader should be able to keep the distance from the emotional, personal and rational thinking situations[12]. Fairness meant to be transparent. If the leader allows subordinates in order to understand their own thinking process, innovations and decisions, the leader shows them that the decision is based on fairness, rationality and not unfair feelings. Strengths of the democratic model This model includes more strengths than other models. This democratic leadership can motivate employees in order to perform more effectively, because they are getting the chance to implement their decisions. This is the fact, which is probably the important one due to the potential to work[13]. Dr. Mahatir Bin Mohammad used this model because of the employee motivation and to develop the country by this commonly accepted and agreed leadership style. High morale: This style includes the sky-high enthusiasm of the leaders and subordinates. There are no complaints, misconceptions and bitterness all have been cleared due to the great communication channe[14]l. All the involved parties in getting the maximum satisfaction in this style. This will result in the decreased number of employee turnover. Creation of more Efficiency and Productivity: The employees are involved in the process of decision making, which ultimately causes to increased efficiency . The employee takes initiative in order to find out the new techniques to increase work performance. By this work will be performed better and saves the time as well[15]. Consequently, this will cause to increase or boost in productivity. If productivity increases in the country than it will be good for the leader. This will be effective and efficient for the leaders. Reduction of friction: This approach allows Dr. Mahatir Bin Mohammad in order to use the innovative and new ideas of his subordinates and to gain credit[16]. It will reduce the amount of tension between subordinates and the leaders. It will play an important role in the long process and avoid possible conflicts. Reduced employee turnover- l The leaders always wish that, their subordinate stays with their team until reconstruction of the organization do not need. Therefore, its important to focus on feelings and empowerment. In the situation where, employee feels empowered through the development of leadership, the company will experience lower employee turnover rates. This situation will be a beneficial situation[17] The weaknesses of democratic leadership style The process of making or taking any decision in democratic leadership, will take some time that subordinate could become much devoted to their work itself. This is the evidence that, seeking consultation in order to take the decision slows down the process. This will become serious troubles and obstacles[18]. According to James (2015), This leadership style causes to the pseudo-participation. Under this style of leadership, group members do participate, take initiatives and perform well even in the absence of the leader. However, this vital absence might cause to completely different results, when the group members are not used to this participative style[19]. The character, participation and [20]maturity of any group members will become the powerful factors. Productivity is lower in the democratic one than autocratic one. These weaknesses have been faced by the leaders.[21] Conclusion From this study it has been concluded that the leader includes the various and unique characteristics. Leadership is of various types.
